Stay safe. Be prepared. Protect your home.

Before the Storm: Prepare Early

  • Know Your Evacuation Route: Find out if you’re in a mandatory evacuation zone and know where to go.

  • Emergency Contacts: Save local emergency numbers and your property manager’s contact info.

  • Build a 3-Day Supply Kit: Include water (1 gallon per person/day), non-perishable food, batteries, flashlights, first-aid kit, chargers, medication, and important documents.

  • Secure Important Items: Move valuables, electronics, and documents to a safe, elevated area.

  • Clear the Patio/Yard: Bring in or tie down outdoor furniture, grills, and anything that could become a projectile.

  • Check Windows & Doors: Close and lock all windows and doors. If shutters are provided, secure them as instructed.

  • Fill Your Car with Gas: Fuel shortages are common before and after storms.

During the Storm: Stay Safe

  • Stay Indoors: Stay away from windows and exterior doors.

  • Keep Devices Charged: Use sparingly to conserve battery life.

  • Avoid Floodwater: Do not walk or drive through flooded areas.

  • Follow Updates: Listen to local news, weather alerts, or emergency apps for real-time updates.

After the Storm: Report & Respond

  • Check for Damage: Notify us immediately of any damage to the property, including leaks, flooding, or broken windows.

  • Take Photos: Document any damage to your belongings or the property for insurance or reporting purposes.

  • Avoid Hazards: Stay away from downed power lines, gas leaks, or standing water.

  • Be Patient: Repairs may take time depending on the severity of the storm and local availability of services.
